At home, I use Traktor Scratch Pro and the NI Audio 8 interface with 2 Pioneer CDJ-800s, 1 Vestax PCV-275 mixer, 1 M-Audio Trigger Finger controller, and 1 Korg Kaoss Pad KP3.  Have an extra Access Virus or Allen & Heath Xone mixer?

How I came to love electronic music:
I had my first brush with electronic music in the Fall of 1997 in Boston.  I was a freshman at Boston University, and my dorm room on West Campus overlooked the infamous and now defunct M-80 Club on Commonwealth Avenue.  As I laid in my dorm bed, I would drown out the relentless thumping bass from the club by listening to JAMN 94.5 FM "The Beat of Boston" on my Panasonic walkman.

At some point, I went to M-80 and enjoyed what I heard.  I managed to get a hold of some live set mixes from local DJ Thanos at M-80.  Paul van Dyk was on tour promoting his seminal 45rpm album, and all the night club promos on the radio were sampling Olive's "You're Not Alone."  My first electronic music took place in December 1997 at Newbury Comics (on Newbury Street).  It was this: http://www.discogs.com/Various-Club-Hits-9798/release/1309757.  I remember the only songs I had ever heard were Chumbawamba's "Tubthumping," Olive's "You're Not Alone," and Sneaker Pimps' "6 Underground."
